Sonos, one of the most popular and easy-to-use wireless “whole-house” music systems, recently added some new features to it’s app. These features make it even more user-friendly and smarter than it already is. Below are a few features that I’m most excited about.

If you’re an Apple fan, then this highlight is for you: Access from the lock screen.

Control Center gives you quick access to your camera, calculator, music, and more, right from the lock screen of your iOS device. Sonos now works with iOS 8.0 or higher to show up in your Control Center which makes it easier than ever to skip a song, adjust the volume, etc. – All without having to unlock your phone.

Help is on the way, dear!

Sonos’ Customer Care can now be reached right from the main menu in the Sonos app. No more searching around.

Double the fun

iOS Slide Over and Split View. Slide Over lets you interact with a second app without leaving the app you’re currently using. With Split View you can open and use two apps at the same time. Multitasking at it’s finest!
