As An Integrator…
Being an integrator, we have our close-knit circle, which consists of builders, architects, interior designers, and clients. What do all of these trades have in common? Residential work. But, what about the realtors who may get in front of the homebuyers and sellers before we do?
Home Technology Increases Home Value
A recent Houzz study said that, “16 percent of home sellers in 2016 said they will be adding home automation to help sell their home and 33 percent of home buyers in 2015 did renovations to add home automation to their newly purchased home.” It’s evident that home technology is becoming more popular, necessary, and is growing. So, how do we educate and get realtors involved? Agents and integrators need to have a partnership.
Smart Home Staging Kit
To stay ahead of the curve as smart home technology is growing, Coldwell Banker recently launched the Smart Home Staging Kit. The kit consists of:
- Nest thermostat
- Nest Protect smoke and carbon dioxide alarm
- Nest Cam indoor security camera
- August Smart Lock
- August Connect Bridge
- Lutron Caseta Wireless Starter Kit
This is genius on Coldwell Banker’s end. It’s a way to not only educate the realtors and agents, but for home buyers and sellers to get a glimpse of what a difference smart home technology can make. Lutron says, “…technology is the no. 1 way to increase a home’s value.”
